Since 2020, I’ve been expanding my focus into motion design, initially through small, self-initiated projects, and gradually integrating animation into client campaigns. My approach combines design-led thinking with animation principles to deliver narrative-driven, engaging visuals. Below are three key workflows I use, each tailored to the needs of a project.

Illustrator → After Effects

This is my most frequently used workflow. It allows a smooth transition from concept and storyboarding to final animation, maintaining control over visual consistency while enabling efficiency. Ideal for campaign work, branded content, and structured motion systems.

Procreate → After Effects

When a project calls for a more hand-crafted, expressive feel, I turn to Procreate for the illustration phase. This gives the work a more tactile, organic quality before being animated in After Effects.

Cavalry

Cavalry is a powerful addition to my toolkit when a project demands more automation, data-driven animation, or procedural effects.

Continuously seeking to expand my capabilities, I’ve recently begun working with Cinema 4D, adding 3D elements to my motion design toolkit. This has enabled me to create animations with added depth and dimension, pushing the boundaries of what I can offer creatively. I remain passionate about exploring new tools and techniques to keep my animations fresh, impactful, and relevant.
